Nothing's changed

I paddle around in circles in my canoe

Nothing's changed it's still the same view

Still stuck in my brain's spin of thoughts

And it ties my heart strings up in knots

Like hands on a clock getting nowhere

And as birds that can't fly with no air

I'm frozen in my mind times on pause

All the courage inside me withdraws

All the pain that scarred me for life

In mind's dark corners, they thrive

I never found exit in this labyrinth

Lost, I don't know where to begin
